The Truth:
He's right about the B.S. part of it, but there is no record that
Sutter ever earned any sort of accredited bachelor's degree, much less one in
physics. We can't say for sure, but our suspicion is that has never taken
a single college course.
On his Facebook page, Sutter claims that his physics degree is from the "University of Illinois at Chicago" and that he graduated in 1976 - an amazing two years after getting his high school diploma! In fact, he was only in the Chicago area for eight months, and this was during his Navy training, which lasted from October 1975 until he was kicked out in June of the following year.
Sutter also told an 'Anti-Semitism' Yahoo Group in 2006 that his degree was in 'Nuclear Physics':

In 1997, Sutter told a Google group that he had a Bachelors in Prison Evangelism (source), along with many other false claims, including one that he had been hired to teach at a seminary!
Jim Sutter has claimed that he is a graduate of the Naval War College and the University of Chicago.
