Mazzy, dressed unusually modest Students and parents at Seeds of Faith Christian Academy in Atlanta know her as Ms. Roberts, a teacher whose supposedly strict religious principles are in contrast to her own tight, low-cut clothing. Still, even the most skeptical observer would be somewhat shocked to learn the truth about Mazzy Roberts. First, there is the language that she uses – although not in front of the students, of course. In her personal life, it seems that Ms. Roberts has quite the salty tongue. Then, there are the movies and TV show that she enjoys, which don’t exactly represent the same values as her school. Is there any truth to the rumors that she enjoys dabbling in pornography? One wonders. And, although lecturing her students on the evils of sex, it turns out that Ms. Roberts has quite a history with men. “Losing” her virginity at the tender age of 14 with a man in his 20’s (as she put it, “I knew what I wanted and I went for it”), the well-endowed young “lady” put her "talents" to work with quite a string of lovers before finally settling down with one hapless soul who did not know about her history and appetites until it was too late. Even marriage apparently couldn’t keep the math teacher from satisfying her promiscuous desires. Her husband even requested a paternity test during the divorce – which she successfully blocked. Perhaps the other guy (or guys) weren’t making as much money. Of course, her ex-husband has been more of a father than she has a mother to the boy, who is in the process of developing into a fine young man, thanks to his dad’s influence. All Mazzy Roberts cares about is getting the monthly child support check so that she can spend it on senseless pedicures and more low-cut blouses. “Other than my son, the only good thing to come out of that relationship was a divorce,” says her ex, who is now very happily married to his soul mate. In the past seven years, Mazzy has gone to court twice to raise the amount of child support, from $524 to an outrageous $2588 per month. Fortunately, there are less than two years remaining on her personal cash cow. “It wouldn’t be so bad,” says her ex, “if I knew the money was being saved for his college or spent wisely, but I know this isn’t the case.” The only thing that kept Mazzy from getting alimony at the time was that he wasn’t making enough when they divorced 15 years ago. Since then, he has excelled in his
career and accumulated a substantial savings by living frugally, while she has
spent frivolously and foolishly, accumulating nothing more than $36,000 in
credit card – according to her latest financial affidavit filed just last month
(10/2008). And this in spite of her $34000 salary as a teacher and $31,000
in tax-free income from her ex-husband!
